Thanks again, Billy.
You have to put the H-I-Double L-A-R-Y song up as well.

I think Lynn would be severly disappointed if I didn't remain an obnoxious, delusional pig... so what the fuck...
I appreciate all the compliments on my writing. But I don't have the foggiest idea of how or where to get started with that... or to whom I should speak...
I've been told to start a blog. But I don't really wanna wade into those waters. Not sure why.
But if anyone knows anyone who needs a caustic, self-absorbed, porn-addicted, narcissist with 2000 words-a-day to get rid of... and now has nowhere to put them...
grumpytrucker@ymail.com
And/or for anything Lynn related. Or not. Whatever. (I like beaver shots.)
Thanks again for all the encouraging words.
PS... If you are a Liberal and think you are gonna convert me after befriending me... and think you can rescue me from the dark side by sending me Liberal slogans and junk emails telling me how disgusting my soul is.... Don't bother. Been there. Done that.
Anyway, if anybody's got a lead on someone who will pay me eleventy bazillion dollars to write some stupid shit... holla.

Hey... I hit the edit button so I could clean up my spelling and review my awesomeness... and it just posted it.
Nothing like a bunch of typos when looking for a job as a writer.
Seriously, though... You guys are giving me a complex. Like I'm the biggest under-achiever of all time. So I'll give it a shot if somebody knows anybody.
Also, my two cents on the whole "Where is Lynn buried" thing...
I'm thinking Lynn would have been a cremated type of person.
Don't you? I think that would fit her style more...
I don't know... Assess... talk amongst yourselves.

Grumpy - let me say that I kinda agree with you about how Lynn would want to be laid to rest...as it were. Alas, she didn't leave any written instructions nor did she ever talk about specifically what she wanted on the show. Trust me - I went through hours and hours of airchecks. She talked about so many things, but not that. And, in lieu of her expressed wishes, it did fall to the next of kin. However, I should add that her nephew Gary made it clear to me that if something is found - either in writing or even an aircheck, he'll try to rectify how things were done.
The only thing I did find is once she bemoaned never wearing her famous leather pants...and said she should probably just be buried in them. But it may be just as well that I found that clip too late ;-) Billy

Ahhhh.... People DO tend to get somewhat religious when they make plans for death.
My Mother got this clever idea to have a Catholic Latin Mass. Ugh. Was like listening to an auctioneer for an hour straight. I felt like Michael Corleone. I just kept wanting to say, "I do renounce them" every time the Priest shut his yap to take a breath.
I wanna be buried in Lynn's leather pants.
I keep wondering what her take would be on the days' events. Like the Target thing.
Did y'all hear about this?
Breastfeeding Mothers felt like they were being discriminated against by Target, so they staged a protest. I think they called it "Boob-fest" or "Milk This?" or some shit.
They all protested by showing up with babies at Target stores across the country and feeding their babies in public.
Lynn woulda loved that shit. Hell, I was trying to find a Target when I heard about it.
Anarchy, insurrection and titties flying everywhere.
When I heard about it, I immediately thought of Lynn and how she would have ran down the street to her Target just to witness all the civil disoboobiage and lactating going on.

Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
Mark Johnson (of MJ & the Wild Alligators) did a one-off theme song specifically for Lynn when she was on BAI.
Anyone have that to send to Billy?

Grumpy,
You'd be a great news-paper columnist, but I guess print is dead. Something like the rants of grumpy. Do you ever listen to the truckers channel? Write a book about how a trucker feels about life today, the audio version would sell , sell sell.
Just a sugestion. What do I know, hell, I'm from Ala-fucking-bama.

Her other BAI themes included "Part of the Act," Afternoon Delight," and "Land of the Glass Pinecones."
I remember I could never make out one lyric in the "Part of the Act" song, but it turned out to be "the whole universe is a mobius strip." I think of her whenever I read the term "mobius strip." Not that I see it that often, mind you. Would love to her it again.
I assume this recording is post BAI, given all the dot-com talk.

I remember Mark Johnson's theme song as her opener and Instant Karma was her closing theme on BAI. But the best part was Lynn singing off-key to every song she played.
Love reading everyone's comments and getting to know all of you.
